What is GangleVision?

Our team's private video room. Every goal and every penalty from our games, filmed from several cameras, with tools to watch them properly and talk about them. Only our families and coaches can get in.

How do I sign in?

Go to team.ganglevision.com, type your family's email, then type the 6-digit code that arrives in that inbox. You stay signed in on that device for 30 days. No password to remember.

Why does it ask "who's watching"?

Each family has one sign-in. Pick your player or "Parent of ..." so your notes stay yours. You can switch from the menu at the top. Coaches who are also parents have a third choice, Coach, protected by a 4-digit PIN they set the first time.

What's on the home page?

Every game, with its goals and penalties. Filters: Goals for, Goals against, Our penalties, Their penalties. Goals show how much they mattered (Weight for ours, Hurt for theirs). Penalties show what happened next: killed, gave up a goal, we scored. What every number, tag and marker means: the Guide.

How do I watch a clip properly?

Angles: switch cameras; the moment stays the same.
Frame step and slow motion: the arrow buttons and the speed row (0.1x to 2x).
Loop: tap A at the start and B at the end to replay a moment.
Zoom: pinch (on a computer: the mouse wheel, or + and - on the keyboard); drag to move.

How do notes work?

Pause on a moment and write. You choose who sees it:

Only me: a private note, just for you (you can reply to yourself to keep a thread).
Coaches: a question or comment for the coaching staff only.
Coaches can also write to the Team or to chosen Players; those players and their parents see it.

Tap a note's time to jump straight to that moment. Coaches can draw on the picture (arrows, circles, a spotlight) and attach it to a note.

What are playlists?

Coaches collect moments into a playlist for you ("your D-zone shifts"). You'll find them under For you. Each clip pauses at its end so you can replay or go next; coaches can see which ones you've watched.

What is a gangle?

A greasy goal from a gross angle. It counts. After each game players and coaches vote for the Gangle of the Game; one vote each, changeable until voting closes. Winners go to the Gangle Hall, and each month the game winners face off for Gangle of the Month. Ugly counts.

Who can see my notes and clips?

Only signed-in families and coaches of this team. Nothing here is public. Private notes are seen by you alone. Keep it positive: swearing is blocked, and anyone can tap Report on a note that's out of line; coaches review those.

I'm a coach and forgot my PIN

Tap Feedback and ask the admin to reset it; you then set a new one. After five wrong tries the Coach profile locks until it is reset.

What is the survey?

A few quick questions on the home page (a different set for players, parents and coaches). Answers save as you go and only the team admin sees them. Tap Not now to hide it; it comes back once a few days later.

The video is black or won't play

Open the video check (also under every video: "Video black? Tap here"). It plays a few short test videos, takes about 20 seconds and sends the result to the team admin, so we can fix it for your phone. Answer "Did you see a picture?" under each one. On an iPhone, also try the same page in Safari.

Something's wrong, or I have an idea

Tap Feedback at the top of any page. It records where you were in the video so we can see what you saw. You'll get an answer under My feedback.

Can I download or share clips?

Not yet. Please don't screen-record other players' clips to share outside the team.
